The granitic vineyard of the Méntrida vineyards to the south-west of Madrid have a hot continental climate tempered by the influence of the river Tagus. Made from 100% Graciano which undergoes a malolactic fermentation and ageing for around eight months in oak barrels, 90% French. Deep ruby coloured with a violet rim, the wine shows blackcurrant, liquorice, mulberry and savoury notes, the full-bodied palate is well-structured with mineral and spice notes to a smooth finish.
