Umami is a young company located between Langhe and Roero, Piedmont. The company specializes in production of black garlic, made with traditional methods and Italian quality raw materials. Umami Italian black garlic is produced by a controlled aging process, without addition of preservatives or chemical additives. The aging process makes it extremely digestible unlike fresh garlic.
The black garlic bulbs and peeled cloves can be used as they are or used to makes creams and sauces. Also ideal for stirring into soups, stews, pastas, and sauteed vegetables.
