Valentina began in East Sheen in 1991 with a simple idea: to bring great Italian food, ingredients and hospitality to the local community.
More than three decades later, we’re still a family business, still passionate about good food, and still guided by the same principle — choosing products we genuinely believe are worth putting on our shelves and serving at our tables.
From Our Family to Yours
Food has always been at the centre of the Valentina story. Our roots are firmly Italian, shaped by generations of family cooking and a love of the ingredients, recipes and traditions we grew up with.
Today you’ll find Valentina delicatessens in East Sheen and Weybridge, alongside our Italian restaurant in Weybridge.
While Italy remains at the heart of what we do, our shelves now bring together exceptional food and drink from producers across Italy, Europe and beyond. If something is delicious, well made and deserves a place at the table, we want to share it.
Our Delicatessens
Our delis are made for people who love food.
You’ll find Italian cheeses and charcuterie, antipasti, fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, pasta and sauces, oils and vinegars, coffee, chocolates, confectionery, wine, spirits and plenty of harder-to-find ingredients alongside everyday favourites.
We also prepare food to enjoy straight away, including pizzas, panini, focaccia, deli dishes, pastries and coffee, with the selection changing throughout the week.
Our Restaurant
Our Weybridge restaurant continues that same approach, serving Italian food made for sharing around the table — from fresh pasta and pizza to seasonal dishes, Italian wines and aperitivi.
The restaurant and deli sit just a short walk from one another, giving Weybridge a little bit of everything Valentina: somewhere to shop, somewhere to eat and somewhere to discover something new.
Choosing Good Food
We work with producers and suppliers we trust, from established Italian names to smaller independent and artisan makers.
We’re always looking for something special — whether that’s a beautiful olive oil, an unusual pasta shape, a great bottle of wine, a traditional panettone or something we simply tried and loved.
That means Valentina has grown beyond being purely an Italian deli. Italy is our heritage and our speciality, but the collection reflects our wider love of genuinely good food from around the world.
