A beautiful pale pink colour, with a delicate aroma of spring flowers and orchard fruit, refined bubbles, and a crisp fruity finish.
The Cuvage Winery is a new addition to the landscape of Piedmont. Founded in 2011 in the town of Acqui Terme, its sole focus is the production of sparkling wine. Sparkling wine has been produced in Piedmont since 1895, and the launch of the Cuvage project is underpinned by a desire to bring these slightly forgotten sparkling examples to the fore once again. Piedmont has a rich history in the world of sparkling wine, thanks to the fact that, in 1895, an Italian oenologist by the name of Federico Martinotti invented the world famous method of controlled fermentation for sparkling wines. In that moment, the sparkling wines of ‘Asti’ were born and Piedmont was put firmly on the map as a fizz trailblazer.
