A specialty of the Liguria region, these Trofie from Morelli are made by hand, then dried at low temperatures, which creates a firm texture and keeps the healthy properties of the grain. Thanks to their tapered, curled shape, the trofie perfectly pick up even the finest of sauces, especially their traditional pairing of basil pesto.
The trofie come with a recipe for trofie with homemade no-garlic pesto.
Cooking time is 15-16 minutes.
