SANMARTINO Moscato Spumante Dolce

Not to be confused with Moscato d’Asti, this bubbly little number uses the moscato grape which brings fruity notes at a still reasonable 8% abv.

Once you’ve popped the unusual black cork, the tropical fruits jump out as well as hints of red berry with a sweetness that makes it the perfect pairing to pastries and desserts - or a savoury terrine. Although made in the same hills as prosecco this is a very different wine, with really wide appeal and a price tag that belies the quality.
