TOGALE Merlot

Togale Merlot Lazio IGT is a vibrant red wine from the Lazio region of Italy made from 100% Merlot grapes. It has a deep ruby-red colour with cherry and plum character, supported by a brief ageing period in large oak barriques to soften the palate. On the nose you’ll find rich red fruit aromas together with light spice and gentle oak. The palate is smooth and approachable, medium-bodied with ripe fruit, a soft tannin structure and a clean, lingering finish. This wine is ideal for pairing with pasta in meat sauces, grilled red meats, mature cheeses and casual meals.
