Caldora Vini is situated in Ortona, in the Province of Chieti, it has played a major role in the recovery of winemaking in Abruzzo. Its main strength is the quality production and exploitation of indigenous grapes. This is rich and easy drinking as the Merlot helps to soften the acidity of the Sangiovese resulting in a well rounded and balanced mouthful of red fruit.

Intense and persistent cherries, prunes and vanilla. Medium bodied, well balanced and soft.
