A 530g Christmas fruit loaf made with 50% sultanas, cherries, whole and flaked almonds, butter and black treacle. Golden and glazed cherries and blanched almonds decorate the top, finished with a toasted marzipan star and a dusting of icing sugar. Presented in a gold tin, it is ready to slice for Christmas tea or serve with cheese. Use a serrated knife with a gentle sawing action, wiping the blade between slices.
