Behind a good wine there are always three factors to consider: the first is the earth, unique and indispensable material without which, the vine, could not take the right nourishment, the second is the microclimate that makes perfect grapes favouring the right maturation, the third is the man who, with his hands and, above all, his love, transforms the bunches into the nectar we enjoy. Argiolas, the historic winery of Sardinia, which has its roots in an area particularly suited to the cultivation of vine which is the Sulcis, has been able to perfectly merge all these ingredients, giving life to unique and typically territorial wines. The Cannonau di Sardegna Costera is a beautiful interpretation of this autochthonous vine that, combined with a small percentage of Carignano and Bovale, fully reflects the character of this land: decisive and warm but at the same time with fresh and refined taste-olfactory sensations.

To the eyes it appears a beautiful ruby red with purple reflections. To the nose you get fruity notes of blackberry and plum, gooseberry, humus and graphite, Mediterranean scrub and light spicy accents. On the palate it is structured and warm but well balanced by smooth tannins, proper acidity and good flavor.

We can combine it with first courses with meat sauce, roast red meat, chicken with peppers and medium-aged pecorino.
