Folli & Benato Gavi

Folli & Benato Gavi, from Piedmont in northwest Italy, is made from the Cortese grape and reflects the region’s hallmark freshness and elegance.

It shows a lifted, precise nose of lemon peel, green apple, and white peach, with subtle floral notes and a light almond edge typical of the variety.

It’s dry and finely structured, with bright, linear acidity driving flavours of citrus, crisp orchard fruit, and a slight saline minerality. The texture is clean and focused rather than rich, giving it a distinctly elegant, northern Italian profile.

The finish is taut and refreshing, with lingering lemon zest, almond, and a gentle mineral note that adds length and definition.
