Franchi Wild Rocket is a premium Italian heirloom salad leaf variety celebrated for its intensely aromatic flavour, delicate texture and vigorous growth. Known in Italy as “Rucola Selvatica,” this traditional wild rocket produces slender, deeply serrated green leaves with a bold peppery character and distinctive nutty undertones that elevate salads and Mediterranean dishes.

Carefully selected by Franchi Sementi, Italy’s historic seed company established in 1783, this authentic wild rocket variety is prized for its richer flavour and finer leaf structure compared to standard cultivated rocket. The leaves develop a vibrant freshness and balanced pungency that pairs beautifully with parmesan, cured meats, citrus, olive oil and grilled vegetables.
