Giovanni Almondo 2023 Le Rive del Bricco delle Ciliegie` Arneis is a white wine from Piemonte, Italy. This family-owned estate is based in Montà, in the Roero hills north of Alba. Although the Almondo family has lived here for over 600 years, Domenico Almondo was the first, in the early 1980s, to make wine from their 18 hectares of meticulously tended vines. This wine opens with aromas of dried pear, apple, and chamomile, with mineral hints. The palate is rich and layered with notes of pear, bitter lemon and a long saline finish. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks using indigenous yeasts.
