LEONE DE CASTRIS Chardonnay IGT Salento 'IL MEDAGLIONE'
Straw yellow in colour, with floral fragrances and fruity hints of banana. In the mouth it is smooth and balanced.
The Chardonnay is harvested in the first decade of August, the Malvasia in the first decade of September. After a short maceration and a soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments at a temperature of 14°C in steel tanks. After the refinement on lees for about 3 months the wine is bottled. It matures for at least 2 months in steel tanks.
